Justine Philippart has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2011. She holds a Master’s degree in public law, with a focus on criminal law, and a University Certificate in Forensic Science and Judicial Psychiatry, both obtained from the Free University of Brussels in 2011 and 2013 respectively. After many years of practicing administrative law in renowned firms and a temporary mandate as an advisor to the Alderman in charge of urban planning and public procurement for the City of Brussels, Justine Philippart chose to refocus her practice on civil and commercial disputes as well as criminal litigation. In this regard, she pleads daily before various Brussels jurisdictions. She practices general civil law, family law, common criminal law, and business criminal law, with a particular expertise in art market criminal law. Since 2024, she has been listed among the lawyers specially trained to support victims of sexual violence and domestic violence (Lawyers Victims Assistance). She also served as a commissioner of the Young Bar Conference of Brussels from 2016 to 2018, in charge of cultural and sports activities.
