The Talent Passport (“Passeport Talent”) is a special French visa category designed to attract skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, and artists to France. This residence permit allows them to live and work in France under favorable conditions. The Talent Passport is valid for up to four years and is renewable.
General Rules:
- Eligibility Criteria:

- Family Members:

Application Process:

- Before entering France, individuals from countries outside the European Union must apply for a long-stay visa equivalent to a residence permit (VLS-TS) at the French consulate or embassy in their home country.
- Residence Permit Application:
- Once in France, the individual must validate the VLS-TS online and apply for the Talent Passport at the local prefecture.

- Passport valid for at least three months beyond the expiration date of the requested visa.
- Application form for a long-stay visa.

- Investors: Proof of investment (at least €300,000) in a French company and a detailed business plan.
- Proof of Accommodation:
- Rental contract, property deed, or a hosting certificate if staying with a friend or relative.
- Financial Means:
- Bank statements or other documents proving financial independence.
- Medical Insurance:
- Proof of medical insurance covering all risks within France.
